When the power fails, how many times can I open my garage door?

All RollUPS solutions specify the runtime and number of openings on their data sheets. Most RollUPS units have an idle time during which they remain operational once the power goes down, followed by a specified number of opening and closing cycles. Each cycle allows for 30 seconds to open and 30 seconds to close. If you need an option for a longer runtime or more openings, please contact us. Is there an option to open and close the garage door more times?

Yes, some RollUPS solutions offer the option to add extra batteries to extend the runtime and increase the number of openings. How long will the UPS battery backup system last once the power goes down?

Where do I store the RollUPS, and how do I mount it?

Do the RollUPS need to be installed by an electrician?

Most RollUPS units feature an easy plug-and-play design that anyone can install. Any UPS in the 3-phase range will require installation by an electrician. We aim to make our products as user-friendly as possible, but we’re always here to support you if professional installation is needed.

When the power fails, can I send a signal to open the door or gate?
